How often should Woundade be used on wounds?
A. It is recommended that Woundade be sprayed on wounds as soon as they occur,
preferably two to three times a day. The more frequent use will further
accelerate the wound healing. If the wound becomes contaminated with debris,
wash daily with fresh water, and then apply Woundade . The washing with water
will help to debride the wound and accelerate wound healing.
Q. Will Woundade prevent granulation tissue or proud fresh?
A. Yes, if Woundade is applied, as recommended, before the formation of
excessive granulation tissue develops, the wounds will heal without the
formation of granulation tissue.
Q. Will Woundade remove excessive granulation tissue or proud fresh?
A. Woundade , when used on chronic wounds with excessive granulation will stop
the formation of additional granulation tissue. However, if the granulation
tissue is excessive, it should be either surgically or chemically removed to a
level just below the epidermis of the wound. Then apply Woundade and the wound
will heal without further excessive granulation.Q. Will Woundade prevent scarring?
A. Yes. If Woundade is applied immediately after wound occurs.

using Woundade , will the animal's hair grow back the same color?
A. Yes. If Woundade is used immediately after the wound occurs and before any
scarring occurs.
Q. Can Woundade be used on dogs, cats and other pets?
A. Yes, not only for traumatic and surgical wounds, but for bacterial and fungal
infections that affects the skin and ear cannel. Woundade is effective for hot
spots in dogs. It is not effective against parasitic infections such as
nematodes, mange or mites, but will prevent secondary bacterial infections
caused by these parasites.
Q. Can Woundade be used on animals other than the horse?
A. Yes, the horse was used as a model to develop Woundade . Wounds of horses are
the most difficult of all animals to heal, primarily because they are
susceptible to excessive granulation tissue, which prevents wound healing.
Wounds of all other animals seem to heal equal to or faster than horses with
Woundade .
Q. Can Woundade be used with other products?
A. Woundade has been formulated to be used alone as many of the commonly used
chemicals and disinfectants traditionally used on wounds will delay and or
prevent wound healing, or they may neutralize beneficial effects of Woundade .
Q. Can Woundade be used to treat deep lesions in the muscle tissue?
A. Yes, If is very important to treat the wound from the inside of out to insure
there are no deep pockets of infections or fistulous tracts. Otherwise, the
wound may heal rapidly on the surface, but leaving a deep fistulous tract that
may remain infected.
Q. Is Woundade effective for equine sarcoids?
A. No. Like proud fresh and excessive granulation tissue, these tumors need to
be surgically or chemically removed. Then Woundade will rapidly heal the wound
at the site of the sarcoid.
Q. Can Woundade be used on infected skin lesions?
A. Yes. Woundade has natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that have
been shown to be effective against a wide variety of skin conditions. It is not
effective against parasitic infections such as nematodes, mange and mites, but
will control secondary infections from these parasites.
